I dont have HBO or SHO in HD however... i have seen the difference between regular resolution (480p) and High Definition (720p) and it is substantial.

Its like going from a small picture thats been enlarged to a Large picture that is natively that size. Much sharper.

ooooh bad news bro, EDTV is not HDTV, thefore u wont get the full effect.

EDTV Image is still 720x480 like regular TV only the way the images are displayed on the screen is much clearer it is not however high definition which is, 1280 x 720 or 1900x1080.

HD is sweet, when watching the Hopkins v. Taylor fight in HD you could clearly see Oscar fingering Milli in the second row.

I called some buddies of mine who got the fight but didnt have HD and I asked if they could see what Oscar was doing and they couldnt see ****.

So yeah HD makes a big difference when your watching the fights, at least for me!
