  • POLL: Which one of these 3 Hws during their prime will be a favorite vs Wladimir

Saw a interesting poll on esb and decided to see this site's opinion. The 3 most talked about HW's when regarding Wlad and fantasy match ups are Tyson Lewis and Ali. IN your opinion which one of the 3 will be a FAVORITE against Wlad, prime for prime .

To me I think Lennox Lewis and Ali will be big favorites. Lennox is basically the better version of Wlad. Ali I feel like have just too much boxing skills.I know Tyson can crack that jaw of Wlad's, but I think Tyson vs Wlad is a 50 50 coin toss fight. So a prime Tyson definitely won't be a favorite against current Wlad.

The truth is Prime Tyson never beat anyone CLOSE to the skills of wlad. (and vice versa) of course but that leaves big room for doubt.

wlad doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as muhammad ali, very few do but still. lewis would beat wlad as well, i think this should be easy to see for any real fan. tyson is the only one where you can argue back and forth, personally i would pick tytson though. i think a prime tyson is too skilled and fast for wlad.

Look at the Mormeck fight he could not stop him from bobbing and weaving in.but dude just threw 0 punches..Tyson would get in and unload, make it rough as hell for Wlad who is extremely weak mentally.once you get past his jab he had no defense he just tries to grab you and lean on you

The hate on Wlad when the name of dreaded IRON MIKE TYSON is brought up sometimes shock me. Mike Tyson was the most exciting heavyweight of the last 20 years, but no way in Hell he can just walk over Wlad. I thought most smart boxing fans admit Prime for Prime Lewis vs Tyson is still going to be very tough on Tyson. Wlad is a lesser version of Lewis, but he basically apply a lot of the same techniques against smaller fighters.

Wlad got a great jab, not as good as Lewis but definitely good enough to keep mike weaving on the outside. Obviously Wlad's Chin is a issue, but if he just holds and leans and holds and leans some more, he can eventually tire mike out. Look at Lewis vs Tyson (ya that is a faded version) but Round 1 was still mostly Iron Mike, the only difference is in Mike's Prime that Round 1 vs Lewis will also be Round 2 3 4 and 5. But if you survive the first 5, you are in great shape.

Look at how much Tony Tucker troubled MIke, Wlad is definitely better then Tucker? I mean that much should at least be 100% lol.

think Wlads weak chin fails him vs all three. Lewis & Tyson KO early and Ali KOs him late. I think Wlad is a great fighter but won't be able to keep these three off him. These are ATGs not chumps like Haye or Mormeck

All 3 in their prime, would be favored to beat Wlad. Whether they beat him or not is a different story. But the fact is, all 3 would be favored over him. I think Lewis knocks him out, Ali decisions him, and I don't know about Tyson. He'd have to be very aggressive but the way Tyson moved when he was young, he had every HW shook cause he was so much faster and agile than them, and then he hit really hard too. The way he would dip and move side to side very fast and had top 10, taller HW's on ***** street. I don't know if Wlad with his cautious style would even last 12 with that Tyson.

I think Foreman might have been able to crush Wladimir as well. That is hard to say though. The thing is Wlad never fought anyone above a B- Fighter so it's really hard to tell how he will do against good opposition.

I guess Wlad's best opponent is sameul peter? I will say Samuel is a B- fighter. That might be giving Samuel too much credit though.

Against Hayes who is a very talented boxer, Wlad just showed what a god damn **** coward he is. People keep saying Haye ran away the entire match and he did, but stop acting like Wlad took the fight to him either lol. Wlad was very content to run alongside him and throw his jab all night.

Cris Byrd, Ibragimov and even Vaginaye are better fighters IMO.
