I thought that was always Juanma's plan to jump up after this fight. Not much for him at 130 though. He'd do better just to go to 135.

Mickey Garcia seems to have a good future in boxing, on the other hand I can't say the same about Juanma..Even IF Juanma beats Salido, by the way he's looked lately I don't think he's gonna get too far be it at 126, 130 or 135...

JuanMa is a good brawler who could still have a good career in front of him. Just match him right, and he'll do OK. remember there were rumors about the distractions during his camp for the first Salido fight. His weight issues, his wife, etc.
Not making an excuse, but I think many people overreacted to his loss. One loss doesn't mean a guy is done.

Hope Garcia is true to his word. If he stays at 126 he should try to unify all the belts and become undisputed champ. As to me this is a much bigger accomplishment than jumping through weight classes and earning meaningless belts.

If they both win their fights on Saturday that would be a good fight to make. But I think Lopez plans on moving up to 130 if he beats Salido.
