are you kidding me? how about going his whole career and not getting KTFO? how about retiring for 4 years straight due to a career ending shoulder injury and coming back straight into a world heavyweight title fight and win via brutality? had Vitali not retired those 4 years he would have put Wladimir's resume to shame because it is Vitali fighting the live wires and the undefeated's in the heavyweight division not Wladimir

Not getting KTFO doesn't qualify you for ATG.are you kidding me? how about going his whole career and not getting KTFO? how about retiring for 4 years straight due to a career ending shoulder injury and coming back straight into a world heavyweight title fight and win via brutality? had Vitali not retired those 4 years he would have put Wladimir's resume to shame because it is Vitali fighting the live wires and the undefeated's in the heavyweight division not Wladimir
Please tell me his ATG accomplishments. Winning a paper title doesn't count.Comment

Vitali would have hung with any ATG IMO. His chin is very good and his size and power in his prime would keep him in any fight. One on one he was very good, but he isn't durable. If he had to go through a few lewis's he would be injured longer.
Wlad once he learnt to conserve energy and defend his chin also will pose problems. Steward has done wonders for him.
Both train damn hard.
Wlad has a lot of power now.Comment

you a hater man, seriously you are you know Vitali is better than his brother and you know the REAL truth. hold on to and cherish the titles and accolades Wladimir has all you want but also understand that if they weren't related in any way Vitali would have smashed Wladimir and would be holding all of the titles right now
he literally stepped aside for his brother to reign, don't be too surprised if he wasn't already able to come back before those 4 years and just didn't in order to let his little brother keep the Klitschko name alive. the man took 4 years off due to a career threatening shoulder injury and came back to beat the man who had his title when he first retired, he just came back and got his gold and has held it since.
you act like he can move up in weight or like he's going to fight his brother so of course he can't hold 3 or 4 real respected titles because his little brother got those but lets say they fought in 2004 and Vitali's arm never gave out on him it would be Wladimir holding just 1 title and Vitali destroying everyone. you have to take ALL things into consideration, he literally CHOSE not to be the best Heavyweight all to allow his little brother to become it and real Boxing fans know he'd beat the crap out of Wladimir so what does that tell you if he did not step aside? he would have been the man
I know it's could've, would've should've but certain times more than others you can take that could've, would've should've more seriously and this is one of those instances 110% hands down. Vitali is CLEARLY the better of the twoComment

if chad dawson would let his hands go he'd be an elite fighter
there's not a guy out there around his weight classes not named andre ward that could give him the time of day if he threw more punches. but he doesnt let his hands go and these guys are competitive with him.
as the trainer of a world class boxer and former top flight pro you obviously can see that if i can. when is chad going to start letting his hands go and being an elite fighter?
both klitschkos will get in to the hall of fame. i'm ok with that. wladimir has a sturdier resume than his brother, but both are seriously lacking
i think over time it will become more appreciated that two brothers ruled the division together. that's what they'll be remembered forLast edited by New England; 03-08-2012, 04:41 PM.Comment
