Its not a race thing its a math thing theres more mexicans competeing than anyone else therefore they produce more champions than just about anyone else so youll have them tuning in more.Think wed miss tyson fight? or Holyfield?mancinii, hearns, leaonard ,duran, or any number of countless greats ? hell no we didnt and we dont, Pinoys are just manny , manny , and manny , but ,but manny , oh and uh manny.
Maybe all they got is Manny and DOnaire as an international superstars, and most of them don't know much about boxing, but please, that DONT mean they cant be BIG FANS of boxing. To be a fan of boxing, all you need to do is sit there and watch the fight. How hard can that be? STop talking sht.

May5... floyd chicken will empty the wallets of all decent, hard-working Mexicans and Latinos that are earning minimum wage in AMerica, treated like scum by their employers, left to do the jobs lazy ass americans won't do (and i tell you i know which people like to be called disabled because they are too fat or too lazy to work, or their brains got fried from crack and are on Public Aid) and yet, on May 5, Floyd Chicken will offer them the show of a lifetime. Fighting Cotto, a Pacquiao Left-Over, over the hill, badly beaten by Margarito (a Mexican) and Pacquiao until blood comes out in all orifice of his body, and he will say I am fighting an UNDEFEATED Cotto.... WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!! :gay:

So you DECIDE Latino nation... if you will spend your hard earned dollars supporting this guy that refuse to fight the TRUE P4P #1, Manny Pacquiao.

Me, I would rather watch it FREE STREAMING somewhere else... but that's just me, and what I plan to do. YOU DECIDE!

I mean.... have you forgottent what happened in the ORTIZ fight? instead of PPV boxing, you saw WWE WRESTLING.

Boxing is big in the Philippines. You are right in that they have few boxers that are international stars, but that doesnt mean that they arent great fans and love boxing. Your critizing from a narrow american perspective focused on one boxer. I would not be surprised that Filipinos are bigger boxing fans per capita than Americans.
So no guessing, I'm American. But I have been to the Philippines many times and always see advertisements for fights when I'm there.

hah, when I first watched that I was gonna put that quote in my sig but I never got around to it. I don't know if we are the best fans, British supporters bring a whole band to the arenas man! And British fans in general make the fights more fun with the singing and everything. But I think all boxing fans deserve credit for sticking around a sport which seems to be a dying breed at the moment.
