Geez, what's happening to pac? He's slacking off. I get alarmed whenever there's a great fighter who seems to get into good time sessions too much. I aint bashing pac, okay? I'm actually protective. Roach advised him to take the earliest hop to the Wildcard gym before christmas but he's leaving the Phils only on Jan. 8 I heard. It used to be him who was a conditioning freak but he looks like he's taking things soooo lightly. To stand toe to toe JMM, he has to at least have the same gas and stamina he had in the Barrera fight. I hope he gets into a training rhythm fast or it'll be ugly for him come february.
Somebody please wake up Pacman!

Happy new year bro!
Sad to see what's happening to our boy. When Pacman trains for something and is driven, he can be unstoppable. I don't know what's come over him. could it be that he already lost the hunger? In any case, I think 6 weeks is enough training for Pacquiao as he is an extremely hard worker when he trains. But I must admit Marquez has been training for quite some time now. I'm very interested in seeing the condition he's in. As for Manny, he better make sure to focus in those six weeks. -

Mooks! Happy new year bro. My account got deact but I'm back now.
I hope those six weeks are enough coz I don't want him making that an excuse when he loses to JMM but I'm banking on Roach's opinion that Manny is a hard driver when he does take his training seriously. Beristain said the few times he saw Manny, he admired his drive for training. Damn... I'd be more secure if he started training earlier. How'd I love to close down every **** fight center and billiard hall near General Santos City so there wont be any temptation for him to go out and play... Argh... I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one buddy.Comment

Well there IS a such a thing as over training. And with the effort that Manny excerts in his training if he does per say 8 weeks or more, he might just overdo it. I think Manny's body reacts well to training and he is a genetically gifted athlete so that's what I'm counting on. But that's IF he actually leaves a week from now on the 8th. I agree that there are too many distractions in the Phillippines. I'll tell you what though, if he pospones his trip by even just a few days, I'm putting my money on JMM .Originally posted by FistFestMooks! Happy new year bro. My account got deact but I'm back now.

don't forget that he also trained in la and davao before the fahsan fight and that should give him extra push for the more rigorous training in january.Originally posted by m00ksWell there IS a such a thing as over training. great thread...hell yeah pac is in trouble..JMM is a hard fight even on pac's best night...so imagine against a not well prepared pac...crap..mann better get in shape and fast...
i want this to be a great fight...i dont wanna hear all about how this time pac didnt win because he wasnt in shape
(which is what ppl will say)
JMM knows what at stake and is training as if he ws gonna fight Tyson...JMM is putting in great effort in training...i respect that
but i believe pac will be in great shape by fight night
(if he not-meaning his stamina wont be good-JMM will win easy..because JMM cant take pac into late rounds easily)Comment

i am sure on Feb 26 we will see another FOY candidate type of a fight and its not cuz of jmm or pac alone, this two guys are made to TANGO ....
and please don't forget guys that PAC even with the Christmas Holidays have maintained his weight, so he is not far off from tip top shape, PAC will be there 100% come fight night...
I am taking all kinds of bet (signature, avatar, points) just PM me the details if anybody is interested, my call PAC WILL BEAT JMM....Comment

I think Pac lost his drive ever since he defeated Marco.... Barrera was his ultimate goal..now that he is done, he's not realizing that road to greatness doesn't stop there. If he loses to JMM this coming Feb., he's just gonna be 4th place on the greatest Filipino Boxers list. No way he's surpassing Flash!!Comment
