where do i sign to become the next klitschko opponent? i think i can also throw ~10 punches before being knocked out. i'd just make sure money is in the bank before stepping in the ring.
for real i'm 170lbs and i guarantee you I can land much more than 3 punches on wlad before being KTFO
Mormeck should have slapped Wladimir's body in the clinches atleast to not have made himself look so pitiful in the punching statistics. He just never truly let his hands go and as a result didn't even give himself a minimal chance of winning.
Going out on your back while swinging wildly and missing is better than laying down after not throwing a punch. For the amount of money Mormeck was being paid and it being probably his last fight and possibly the lasting memory of his boxing career, I expected him to atleast give it his all. Instead we got an effort that could be repeated by most journeyman heavyweights.
I'm 210 and 6'4 but under no illusions here — the split second I moved a glove away from my face to even think about throwing a punch, Wlad would hospitalise me.

wlad would hospitalize you even if your glove was covering your face. he'd punch right through it you big *****
Lol Wlad kept holding him every time he got close!! Not that it would have made any difference but he shouldn't be allowed how can you fight inside if sa guy that size keeps leaning on you? that's not allowed in boxing! Don't blame Wlad though boxers do whatever the ref let's them get away with.
Mormeck initiated most of the clinches. Wlad clinched a bit in the 4th when Mormeck got a little more aggressive. Then he immediately knocked him out.
Wladimir was coming of beating #3 HW which was Haye (After both Wlad and Vitali) and before that he beat Peter, Chambers, Chagaev, Rahman, Ibragimov ... He's just running out of opponents.
The guy was defending Mormeck as an opponent because people were OK with Tyson fighting bums early on in his career. I know he is probably trying to defend his fighter but you also need to call it like it is.
How can one defend getting a rusty as nails 40 year old who only fought a few fights at HW and is 5'11" and needs to fight a 6'6" (Super) HW champ?
Too boot, he wasn't even spectacular in his wins at HW .... the commentators stated that they felt like he could have even have lost them. They said, the reason the judges gave it to him was because they fought in France .... Mormeck's home country.
