BoxingScene.com has been advised that former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32KOs) is possibly going to return on March 31st on a Top Rank event being planned for San Antonio, Texas. Pavlik was previously being positioned for the Brandon Rios-Yuriorkis Gamboa undercard on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Pavlik, now being trained by Robert Garcia, is eager to hit the ring after being inactive since last May's decision win over Alfonso Lopez on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard.

Yesterday I saw Kelly Pavlik trash talking with this bum name Scott Cujo Sigmon and his friend over the date, purse, and contract on twitter. It was hilarious. Cujo was claiming Kelly was ducking him. lol

It's a shame to see Pavlik's career spiral out of control the past few years with injuries, alcohol problems,etc.

I don't think he can get back to the good form he had a few years back but at least getting back in the ring would be a nice start for him.

Hope he can bounce back strong, very unlikely though.

Jr. better pay attention. He's headed down the same road, maybe worse. He has his own demons and he's throwing everything away. So far Jr. hasn't faced anybody like Pavlik, drunk or sober and that DUI is just another reason I don't have any faith in him.
