If you put a 'solid' nba player against college players that guy will average like 40 points a game.

That don't mean this solid nba player whos averaging 40 against college guys is better then kobe jordan lebron wilt .

On topic - I think Wladimir would have at least been a strong force back then. Also, having KO doesn't mean you've been killed. Idiot. He could have done fine after the KO. No, not everyone would have been able to stop him.
AGAIN, teacher...please get of my nuts with the grammar already. You are "you're" annoying me!

Ha ha ON TOPIC- Tell me who he could have beaten back then? Tyson, Lennox, Bowe, Holyfield, Foreman or Moorer? Hell, I don't even think he could have beaten the likes of Morrison, Douglas, or Mercer. I'll one better you...90's Holmes ha ha.

Unlike possibly you, I get on no guy's nuts, moron.

Mercer wasn't a force in his prime? Ok... Tyson I'd pick to lose, unless he got "lucky". He was real fast, with awesome power. Perhaps the word "lucky" was a bit too strong. Anyways, unless we have seen one of those guys test him, we really can't say for sure. Both of the brothers, at 100%, are very mobile, powerful heavies. Yes, I'd give them a shot against any and all of the fighters mentioned by you, idiot.

          That was pathetic.

Did Mormeck even throw 20 punches total in the 4 rounds?

At least that's over and hopefully someone, or anyone, more entertaining is the next opponent.

Wow! I've heard some off the wall ****** comments on this website over the years but that tops them all. Calling Iron Mike "lucky" ends this conversation for me.

Dude, do you even comprehend the size difference? Wladimir isn't some stationary punching bag, either. Yes, it would likely be quite tough for Mike, great as he was, to land something huge. Also, imagine what the toll of Wladimir constantly leaning on him would take. Since you like to compare, answer me this - Do you think Wladimir is worse than James Douglas?

the leaning aspect would be eliminated with a competent ref and mike would get under that jab often enough to lay wlad out. Wlad hasnt faced anyone which the combination of power, speed, defense and conditioning of Iron Mike. Not to mention Tyson had a really good chin aswell.

Yes, good points. James Douglas did KO Mike, though. You really can't see Wladimir being pushed into being a mobile jab machine at all? He's a huge, very athletic fighter. Maybe Mike would overwhelm the young Wladimir, but the current one seems to be a tougher cookie. Mike could possibly get to Wladimir's chin, sure, but can you really say Mike would blast him out 10 times out of 10, with Wladimir being completely helpless in there?
