From his Town I like Vargas better. At least, He had some boxing behind his bark.
IMO Brandon Rios is a streetfight with good punch, but very little skill and a big mouth. I can't believe all the hype out there for a guy that's a step up from been a UFC fighter without martial training.Comment

Guys are going to be wondering post-fight why, Gamboa got the win so easily. And once they see the fight replay, it will show that Rios had the wrong gameplan and was too stationary to deal with the movement, speed and skill of Yuriorkis Gamboa.
And YES!!!!!
I'm taking bets on this fight ... Yuriorkis Gamboa all the way

I take what everyone is saying about speed, and skill of gamboa on board.
But IMO there is no way gamboa is not at some stage of the fight gona be tested by rios, when I say tested I mean he is going to be in trouble, you cant run forever, especially with the type of pressure rios brings.
Everyone is going about size, but are they not right too??? have u not seen this guy, have you not seen his fights, than man, is a nightmare, he must be one of the most feared champions out there.
If the weight doesnt kill, him, cause I think he;s struggling to make 135lb, I think he will get a late round ko.
I admire the guys like rios, who dont have the natural ability and rely on the heart and strength to get them true, his fights are exciting. Gamboa is for the fans that admire pure boxing skill.Comment

I get where your coming from mentioning margarito vs pac
however, margarito was 31 when that fight happened, well past his prime,
and even still, at one stage of that fight he hurt pac to the body, where after the fight pac reported being hurt badly and thoughts of quitting flew through his head.
Rios is 25, in his prime, his flame is still burning brightly, dont forget that margarito in his prime was feared throughtout the 147 division.
all in all what i am trying to say is, gamboa is in his prime, and so is rios, i think its a close fight, very close, not like the pac vs marg fight,
I am going for the unrelenting pressure of rios stopping a very talented gamboaComment
