Any list that has Primo Carnera on top isn't a list I'd particularly care to be ranked on.

think Tunney had it on his sig before
every fighter has some nobodies on his resume early on
KO's in the title matches tell the story

Such a meaningless list. I'd like to see how many KO's they had while they were champions or in championship fights???

I was really rooting for The Mongoose, in the Rock's finale....
Moore's only Demand was 6 ounce gloves!!!
Edgarg, I think your right seeing Patterson coming, the Rock,
          made his EXIT!!!

Most of Ezzard Charles' knockouts were not at heavyweight. I don't see why he should be on the list

Iv just gone through boxrec to see what their ko's were while actually a defending heavyweight world champ. It looks more like this!

                    1. Primo Carnera -- 0
                    2. George Foreman -- 2
                    3. Ezzard Charles -- 4
                    4. Max Baer -- 0
                    5. (tie) Wladimir Klitschko -- 11
                    5. (tie) Joe Louis -- 22
                    5. (tie) Jack Dempsey -- 4
                    8. Greg Page -- 2
                    9. Tony Tucker -- 0
                    10. Shannon Briggs -- 0
                    11. (tie)* Mike Tyson -- 8
                    11. (tie) Larry Holmes -- 16
                    13. Herbie Hide -- 2
                    14. Tommy Morrison -- 1
                    15. Hasim Rahman -- 0
                    16. (tie) Vitali Klitschko -- 6
                    16. (tie) Michael Moorer – 1

                    Also, where was Lewis?

A realistic top 5 of defending heavyweight champ ko wins is.

                    Louis, 22
                    Holmes, 16
                    W Klitschko, 11
                    Tyson, 8
                    V Klitschko and Lewis, 6
