    Nunez-Lattimore Shobox

Fun ass fight. Who do you think won and would you like to see a rematch?

It was a really good fight, I had no problem with Latimore winning as he had control of the fight until he got hurt. I wouldn't mind a rematch but I don't think there will one at least not right away.

Latimore certainly has a lot to think about and work on after that fight. I think Nunez will get another shot against a guy that needs a test or some seasoning but he really won't be that much of a test for some.

I agree pretty much with everything. Lattimore was in control until he started fading in the 9th then he ate those 2 kd's.

He faded badly and he's too in love with his power (which isnt all that effective).

Nunez problem was his inactivity, and his leaky d on the straight rights and uppercuts.

I think both are pretty much at gatekeeper status. Nunez just been ko'd more so he's a lower level gk.

Latimore sucks. He certainly won I thought, as he was in control most all of the fight. I don't see him beating any of the top 154 lb guys though. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight the Julio-Rosado winner.

He just seems to be a decent fighter, nothing more or less. If he were to beat a Rosado, which is a big IF, I'd be impressed. Because I don't thinkhe'd beat even Rosado right now. Maybe he'll improve once he gets more time with Jeff Mayweather, who knows.

Yea Latimore is kind of a midlevel guy, he is strong but his punching power isn't that great. If he really wanted to work he could probably fix a couple of his issues although all his flaws are long term so he can probably only get so far. I would expect anyone good to beat him, if he can't overpower them.

Nunez is a bit lower on the scale, he seems to have better power but worse in a lot of areas because anyone that Latimore can control has serious boxing issues. Boxers should be able to outbox him, powerful guys should be able to stop him and activity guys should be able to out work him if they are anything of note anyways.

That does look bad for Latimore but without getting tested in that sort of way there was no way he would get better.

I dont like lattimore for the winner there. If rosado wins that he should look to a bigger name, and julio would prob end up looking for a last big paycheck.

Buuut, i would watch any of those 3 fights.

I cant see latimore beating even the likes of vanes, molina, or kirkland. And definitely not someone like Trout or Lara. Brutalizations there.

I'll reserve judgement on Latimore until I see his next fight. He hasn't been with Mayweather long but he has improved leaps and bounds compared to what I saw in the Spinks and Powell fights.

Nunez does seem to be a gatekeeper tho. He does have decent power tho.
