At least Cotto didn't get beat by a lightweight last time out. Love Pac, but beating him at 147 doesn't prove much at this stage since a lightweight just did it.

So you think beating Cotto means more than beating Pacquaio?

Certainly didn't say that. Floyd doesn't need Cotto or Pac at this point.

If he beats Cotto then goes on to unify 154, that's an accomplishment, he'll have tied the record for most lineal titles.

          So which win means more?

Doesn't need them for what? What the hell are you going on about?

He doesn't need them to secure his legacy. I like the Cotto bout because it's a big fck you to Bob Arum and Cotto is getting paid.

Probably Pacquiao. Note I don't put much stock into Floyd beating either, though. So it's slim pickings.

Right so Floyd didn't want the Pac fight because it was irrelevant and didnt mean anything.

So he took a less meaningful and more irrelevant fight.

                  Your words.

                  Thanks for playing.

I hate Floyd but he toys with Pac. Pac would look confused and lose all but a rd or 2.

Both mean very little, like I said. Floyd still needs to fight to make money, right?
