Floyd doesn't need to sell this fight. He did something similar with Marquez.

Cotto's a veteran fighter, experienced. He has a hard enough time conducting a casual interview in English, let alone trading words with another fighter in English. Its just not appealing.

Not only that, but Money knows the benefits of playing to a PR audience, especially in New York.

What you guys are missing is that there isn't any bad blood between Floyd & Cotto ... As a matter of fact, the two of them spent some time together, talking and hanging out, in PR last year.

This is a fight between two guys that have respect for each other ... period!!

And may the best man win.

They were talking business. Not hanging out. Who knows if they were talking about this fight. However, it seems serious that Floyd wants to develop his promotional company. Cotto been working hard with MC Promotions. He has deals with GBP and TR to develop fighters and also got deals for TV. This being their first co-promote fight will be probably one of many to come. I still believe that the fight to open the televised undercard can be one prospect of either company. And non televised fights they will have plenty of those.
