The friday night after floyd ortiz he called what floyd di a cheap shot, that it wasn't necessary yet I didn't hear him (he may have said it later) acknowledge the punch was legal. SInce I didn't hear that I question whether he has enough knowledge of the sport to have that position. But I like him otherwise. -

I have no problem with him being their boxing guy, he isn't really that knowledgeable currently but in time that will come, it takes pretty much everyone that covers boxing time to get up to speed when they start out.
He is pretty bland though, he will ask the standard stuff but to me he isn't the sort to really dig and follow up with tougher questions. That is good in a way because he will get to interview guys before fights because he will throw them softballs on a big stage, but in terms of actually gaining insight on guys he really will not provide much.Comment
