Its a calculated risk by Bute. He's got a rematch clause, which shouldn't happen since Froch is the mandatory. Im just glad the fight got signed.

Props to both specially Bute who is losing a lot of money going to the UK.

As far as the fight, I see a mid to late rounds KO by bute. Froch dont like it to the body and Bute is one of the hardest body punchers, plus is much faster and a bigger puncher than Froch.

If Frcoh last the first 6 without getting hit with something big, he can push the pace in the later rounds and win a close UD!

and why is Froch the mando ?... he didn't do anything to get the mando spot, this is a stunt the IBF pulled off to force a Bute vs Froch fight, probably because Interbox put the pressure on them

getting a rematch clause is the least Bute's promoters could do to get his back since they send him into Froch's backyard and that Dirrell has already been shamelessly robbed there

My point is that its not this huge risk that people are making it out to be. He'll get his rematch in Canada where Froch will need to knock him out 17 times to retain the belt.

I thought it was. Froch complained a few times in the corner about it.

froch is rated number 5 by the IBF at the time of the mandatory letter. spots 1 and 2 were vacant as it was before stevenson won the eliminator for spot 2. # 3 Edwin Rodriguez was already scheduled to fight. #4 abraham said no and he is fighting march 31. then they got to Froch.
