How is Floyd waiting for anything? Floyd is making his move up to 154lbs and fighting a champion. Martinez is floating in limbo at 160lbs avoiding any real challenges. The man has 2 noteworthy wins in 52 fights, and those wins came over Williams who was exposed by Quintana, and Pavlik who was exposed by Hopkins.

You're being silly. You hold Mayweather to a completely different standard, but in the same breath dog him for not fighting every breathing boxer who has ever had a win.

Name the fighters that Floyd waited to get what you call "old".

Shame on Jr the great to whup up on an already beaten fighter by Pac
Yet *******s have no problem with Pacquiao doing it for years. At least Floyd fought the men you're talking about when they are #1 and winning.

Why didn't Pacquiao fight Paul Williams at 154? Andre Berto at 147? Shane Mosley when he was winning? But you won't answer that.

Because the one dimensional midget from the third world has used Mayweather's name to make his own name. He got on the map by fighting DLH RIGHT AFTER Mayweather did at a mannyweight. Then Manny fought Hatton AFTER Mayweather knocked him out. Manny was trying to say "See? I can beat these guys too". What seemed impressive really wasn't due to mannyweights and the fact that they were no longer at the top of their game when Manny decided to face them. Hatton was contemplating retiring after the Floyd fight. He said as much in the media.

So when that one dimensional midget begins pretending that he is the best by beating Floyd's opponents, the logical next step would be for the two to settle it in the ring. Instead, Pacquiao spent 3 years telling the world that he was to principled to take PED tests and was afraid of blood despite having several tattoos. Then he accused USADA of being corrupt. Then he said he'd take a pay cut, but then reneged on that. Then he had a cut that wouldn't heal by May 5th despite getting injured in November of the previous year.

Manny Pacquiao is a midget muppet with Bob Arum's hand up his asss working his mouth. He can barely speak English but he can articulate all these concerns. He CLEARLY can't do math as VisionQwest has shown, but he can calculate what Floyd is getting to be able to say that he wants more money?

Manny may take the beating, but Arum will take ALL OF THE MONEY on Manny's end. Bob will TELL Manny what he's allowed to have. You can bet on that.

And that's why Arum isn't keen on making the fight with Floyd: He wants Floyd to sign over his share so that Arum can take both fighter's money. That's why both DLH and Floyd left in the first place. Only the midget muppet is ****** enough to stick around while being robbed blind.

For a guy with such a huge entourage, you'd think that at least one person would pull Manny aside and tell him to watch his back because it isn't looking good for him. Clearly no one has.

Hopefully he'll wake up soon and the fight can get made.

It won't be risky to fight Martinez , didn't you watch his last fight ? He has already started the downward trend, slipping,,,getting OLD Mang,,,two or three more fights he will be shot and then good old JR the P4P mang will take him easy.

I am with you mang,,,JR likes easy fights,,,I just wish he would fight that one dimensional easy to whup little asian guy cause he needs a goooooooooooooooooooood whupping and surely make 200 mil right now,

I wish they do the winner take all,,,200 mil to the winner

      gotta go yall have fun

Since it's not risky mang tell me why Manny wants absolutely no part of even talking about Martinez? Yeah I know mang. Floyd will make 100-125 million fighting Cotto and Alvarez which is the perfect set up to a career topping 100 million dollar fight with Martinez. Middle-wts don't even wanna fight Martinez mang. You can't fight that punk ass, lying ass little asian guy if he refuses to fight. All his dumbass needed to do was take the 40 million (more than 4 times than what he's ever made) and we would be seeing the fight on May 5th and I don't have the time to run down the excuses we got instead. You Roidenablers probably had a contest to see who could come up with the best excuses for him.

Wouldn't have to be ALL muscle, with Floyd's skills. But, I think he'd really risk getting knocked out by a good fighter at that weight, since an old Shane had him really going. To me, it would be an amazing feat if he were to fight and beat Sergio, real soon, and actually win. Something tells me he best stay away from him, though, great as he is(he is great - to all the haters)...

Floyd should should say f**k Pacquiao and just fight Cotto now and move up to 160 and fight Sergio.

Pacquiao still wouldnt be on the resume, but imo fighting Martinez at 160 or even 154 is just as good or even better than a Pacquiao fight

Another Mayweather language corruption, amongst many. The word is "WHOP" not whoop. I often see it in late 19th and 20th cent. school stories to describe the caning a teacher administers for infractions of the school rules. I've always felt it was a coined onomatopoeia, imitating the "whipping" sound of the cane (which I remember well...Ouch). Just now looking it up, I see that it is supposedly derived from an old English word Whoppen, (maybe Anglo-Saxon origin).

"WHOOP" is completely wrong, and only means a loud shout.

The same mistake is made in using "brakes" or "Breaks" instead of "breeks" which is the correct word. It's a Scottish spelling and pronunciation of "breeches" (pants)?

My god......While I often talk s**t about people spelling like morons on here, this was just pointless.

Also, isn't the word actually WHUP???? Not Whop or Whoop????

              BING Dictionary: Whup

              1. Strike somebody: To beat somebody (informal)
              2. U.S. Defeat somebody: To subject an opponent to a crushing defeat (informal)
              3. Southern U.S. whip somebody: to beat somebody with a whip

[Late 19th century. Dialect varient of whip]

Still, to stand and trade with someone who outweighs you by a good 20lbs and get the better of him shows who the boss in the ring was.

DLH had moments mostly against the ropes, but even then Floyd was toying with him. Floyd took chances and got caught a few times ... showing his chin ... but if people were expecting a 150lb fighter to KO or even knockdown a guy who came in about as big as a LtHW(175lbs), then they were delusional from the get-go.

Boxing isn't about whose face is messed up .. and if you use that as a gauge to determine who won then you're MMA fan.
It's been reported that Mayweather, who came in 2 lbs over the contracted limit, and paid a fine, was over 20 lbs heavier than Marquez on fight night. He refused to weigh in before the fight. It looked like David and Goliath.

I can't remember when he actually HAS weighed in at fight-time. He always refuses. I wonder why............?
