    Sure, why not?

However, I can't see May fighting below 154 anymore so this fight would be highly improbable.

Floyd is more skilled and has flawless defense. At 130, Floyd also had ko power. At 147, Floyd would be too big for Gamboa. I heard Gamboa bloats to 150 between fights but he is untested above 130.

I'm a big Gamboa fan, but Floyd would beat him at any weight.

More like Jr. Lightweight/Lightweight Floyd versus Gamboa. I think Gamboa would have kept it competitive, But Floyd will eventually find a way to win.

              sigh.....

Skills win fights........we don't even know if Gamboa can beat Rios, Juan Ma, Broner or anyone else in or around his division. Gamboa has tons of holes on defense. This kid would get picked apart, especially fighting with his hands down.

so if skills win fights we DO know that Gamboa beats ríos, juanma and broner- although broner being the only one with a very high level of skill out of those three opponents.

Gamboa stops Floyd inside of 7-8 rounds. No bias because I'm a bigger Floyd fan than Gamboa fan.

If this fight ever happend it would be the Fight of the Decade. But will never happen dont see Gamboa jumping between 147-154.
