if bute does this and wins people are gonna need to stfu about bute and his comp. he's had no one to fight and he'll have gone out of his comfort zone unlike ward.

if he gets beat though, he's gonna get sharted on HARD!!!!!

If that happens I think venue will be decisive. In the US I got Ward. In Canada Bute. Neutral I go with Ward.

      You?
Still ashamed that Kessler ducked Bute like a little girl i see.

I'm intrigued thinking about what style both guys will try and fight in as they've both used some very different ones in their last few. I'd bet Froch is going to be the one backing up and trying to box like the Kessler and AA fights and Bute coming forward with a aggressive puncher approach ala Johnson fight, trying to stalk, take away space, make Froch miss and counter with hard shots.

Great ! It's supposed to be the 12 may in Nottingham, although it's not signed, we will know more about the fight this friday ( from what i read in Montreal ).

I think Bute can beat Froch, Kessler or even Ward, but at the same time, he has less experience with that level of opposition. That could be a big factor, the fight against Froch will show me how he can take the pressure, especialy in Nottingham. Should be a great fight, i think Bute will win with a body punch RD 4-6, that shot is painful !

I hope we won't see another bad hometown decision if the fight goes to 12.

Froch will get hit a lot but I think he takes Bute out when Bute realizes he can't hurt Froch at all. However I can see Bute getting decision but I favor Froch by TKO/KO late.

YES...if Bute goes and pull off an impressive win in Nottingham then yes he will get major credit for doing so

still have a bad feeling this fight will fall apart and somebody will find a way out of this fight

Looks like big news could be on the way about @Carl_Froch in this week's magazine. @EddieHearn @matchroomboxing http://pic.twitter.com/Bp3HI1zJ

And from Jean Bedard, Interbox (Bute's promotor):
                @interboxbute Get your luggage ready.

So This must mean that Bute travels to England.

                Great match-up.

Beautiful, thanks for the news! I see Froch sparking Bute out. His skills are underrated and he has fought 10X the opposition talent wise than Bute.

i bet he left 1 mill on the table. and that is NOT counting showtime money.

i bet froch left 500k plus on the table too not fighting in Canada. bute could have went on a half year vacation and spend his millions waiting for ward to fight him. see, he was guaranteed US money just sitting and waiting.

that's what surprises me most about lucian. i always thought he was money hungry but BAM he blindsights me with a wicked jab.

Great, Bute is losing a lot of Cash, so win or lose he deserves respect for wanting to prove himself!!

Second, showtime wont show it, because they wanted Bute to fight an american next, Bute wanted Ward and ward said no thanks. So they wanted Bute to fight either Dirrel, and Bute told them to shove it!

Third Bute By KO in 8!!

Neither Bute nor Ward are crossover-stars and their respective fanbases are in Quebec and California. I don't think a fight between them making financial sense anywhere but Canada or California.
