Comments Thread For: Lamont Peterson Confident of Repeat Win Over Amir Khan

In the days leading up to his career-defining win over Amir Khan, Lamont Peterson drew a slew of boxing talent to his Washington D.C. homecoming last December. Among those in attendance was then-newly crowned 130 lb. titlist Adrien Broner, who came out to support his ‘big brother.’

I think it's possible. Khan does the exact same thing as last time, all he has to do is go straight to his plan B so he doesn't lose rounds early

Im with Peterson for the rematch. True khan does come out fast like against madaina and peterson, but he's also susceptible early on like against prescott. Peterson might even get the ko.

Im callin for Peterson to win the rematch. Khan will probly fight him the same exact way expecting the judges to gift him a decision, aint gonna happen

If he fights Khan in the same way, it can be expected that he'll be penalised again for pushing, since the Peterson corner will likely bring this up with the ref pre-fight.

Also, my impression of their fight was that the 2 points deductions were both for Khan's aggressive pushing, not for holding, as the writer says. The second point was reported as being for pushing, and also for hitting on the break. Both were done simultaneously in that last rd.

Khan Fought a silly fight last time out wasn't following his corner's instructions and was acting macho instead of getting his head down and out boxing Lamont which he is capable of any day of the week i think this fight was a win for khan or Lamont scraping a draw at best even with all the things against khan like the two 10-8 rounds the referee and the home cooking Lamont only managed to sc**** it by a point so at a neutral venue with a decent referee Khan has got this Wish i had some points in order to win some bets for this fight.
I like Lamont allot i am a fan of his for his personality more then his fighting hes a good honest decent guy but he lost the first fight.
