Man, the absence or neglect of logic when it comes to anyone Floyd fights is annoying. When's the last time he fought a Top Rank fighter? When he was a Top Rank fighter! Damm....lets get over that.

Anywho, I like this fight, and whoever doesn't is an a$$hole. After this one, lets see if Bob Arum will allow Manny to fight. If not, hopefully we see Floyd vs Martinez.

As far as Manny, I'd like to see him vs Berto/Ortiz winner, to see him vs someone new. But we'll prolly see Manny/JMM IV.

But you were affraid Floyd. You turned down you're biggest pay day at the time to not fight Margarito and this was BEFORE the hand wrap scandal.Floyd always made excuses not tofight people, but atleast he finally fought a live dog in Ortiz and FINALLY he's fight Cotto. This fight should of happend after Floyd beat Hatton and Cott beat Shane.

but that doesn't prove Tony did anything shady in the 1st fight
his damn face just fell apart in the rematch
and Cotto was just fine at 145, Pac simply destroyed him
Cotto is a decent win for Floyd, no need to try hyping him up
I semi agree. Pac did demolish him, probably clean, but 145 does play a minor role. If you have to starve yourself to make a weight that you never touch, then that says something imo.

As far as margo, i dont think he beat him because of help from pac. Imo, he was just better prepared, and finished what he started (the first fight completely outclassed margo for 6 rounds). He probably did have loaded gloves the first fight, but he was still allowed to land hard body shots and uppercuts on cotto. Not so much in the second fight.

guess he just confirmed that he (mayw) cheated against JMM then! if thats how he sees things.. Bloating Jmm up serveral divisions then paying him off due to Floyds "overweight issues" and lets not forget that his first retirement was due to his unwillingness to have that rematch w ODLH!! if Floyd wanted the best Cotto then maybe he shoulda fought him before Marg and Pacq.. Floyd=(do as i say, not as i do)chumpion! its ok for him, but not others? pathetic....

I view Miguel Cotto as being Manny Pacquiao's leftovers..

Floyd waited to fight Cotto until he lost twice. Cotto is definitely past his prime but I give him a decent chance versus Floyd.

Pac has been slowing down so no wonder Floyd has been pushing for that fight too.

maybe mayweather will wait til he is 37/38 yrs old to fight pac, that way...if mayweater loses to pac, floyd, as well is his fans, can say that floyd was no longer prime and old. um, ok ;o)

few years back, this chump was saying "who is this ,what has he done, he doesnt deserve a shot at me...so on so forth yadayada.... the biggest hypocrite in boxings name is FMW Jr. now he jumps at the chance to fight guys like "Ortiz" lmbo who had one good fight at WW. and now Floyd has to justify himself by pretending his fighting an undefeated fighter just to soothe his ego.. Cotto wasnt ok for him to fight a few years back , and now after 2loses , hes all of a sudden perfect to face.. so now Floyd bends his own rules to make himself look good instead of that hypocrite that he is... lmbo....clown
im really hoping cotto pulls off the biggest upset just to see what his reactions will be.... i assuming hed then say "well i guess ill give pacq a 45-55 split at 154lbs." "hahaha"
