Im not aware of any specific studies on the effects of a boxer cutting weight and hair loss, however my knowledge gained from completing a PhD in Biological Chemistry tells me that there would be no known biological pathways that would support such a conclusion.

Also i have seen first hand bodies of people in Myanmar that have died of malnutrition and dehydration and they had all their hair. So i fail to see how if a person can die from a lack of water and food and not lose their hair, that ODLH would go bald from having to fight a few pounds under his last fight.

The most likely explaination is that he has male pattern baldness and being super rich has had it treated with implants etc.
