Seeing as how the top 3 $ makers in the sport are currently lining up their own fights 2 of them vs each other on May 5th and one on June 9th, Who would you all like to see fight Martinez this summer if and when he gets by Macklin on march 17th? I was going to put up a poll for this question but in my mind their are far too many fighters ut there that i think could get it on with this guy and my personal # 1 would be Andre Ward at some type of catchweight sinc ethey are only 8 lbs apart. ( I only say this bc Bob Arum will neevr let Martinez and Chavez get in the same ring and thats the fight that legally is supposed to go down.)

Who should Martinez fight next?

He should go down to 154 (which is his natural weight) to fight someone like Kirkland or Lara so that he can then claim a shot at Canelo or whoever is the wbc titleholder so he can then fight mayweather in what would be mayweather's finishing touch to his long hall of fame run and probably his biggest fight ever... I would be rooting for Sergio though

If he wants to stay at 160, and if Pavlik ends up fighting Julio instead of Andy Lee, he should fight Andy Lee in July. Stay active and fight 3 times in 2012. That way, a possible Floyd fight in December would still be on the table. Either fight Lee or Pirog.

Following his current trend, i would say Martin Murray
But it should be Pirog

I think Lou mentioned that Sergio would be available to fight in the summer and late in the year as well, making it 3 fights in 2012. Now that Chavez isn't fighting Lee, I bet that Lou makes Sergio vs. Lee in NYC, especially if they get a decent turn out with Macklin. A lot of people bought tickets for Martinez-Macklin when they thought Andy Lee was going to be on the card. That's what I expect to see. Lee would be a good fight, but don't see why Sergio won't fight Pirog. I think Sergio beats any MW in the world.
And i mostly agree with that statement except for Proksa

But we really haven't seen Proksa against anyone that good, so we'll see. I'd like to see Proksa fight someone like N'jikam or something.
