Didn't Manny Pacquiao say he would take less money AFTER Floyd said all Pac had to do is accept the tests? I see a lot of you don't know how business works. If Manny would have stood his ground from the beginning and said 50/50 and NO negotiating, then Floyd would have had to put up or shut up but the fact Pac said he would take less to make the fight happen gave Mayweather a reason to get at him asking for more. Ain't about taking sides but about what exactly happened. Pac gave Floyd bargaining power, so for Pac fans to be on here talking about Floyd don't want the fight because he is asking for more than 50% may or may not be true BUT Pac clearly said he would take less and then went back on his statement.

If Pac fans are going to say Floyd don't want the fight then they have to cosign that Manny don't want it either or are just bias. Arum had the stadium excuse, the date was too soon for Pac's cut to heal.....yadda, yadda,yadda... but no one emphasizes on this. I say make it 50/50 if you really want it but since both guys are making millions on their own, they are not in a rush to push forward to fight each other. Totally an ego thing. Mayweather has star value and so does Pac. Both have been on the big stages. Floyd has fans and so does Pac. Split it down the middle and winner takes over completely. Fans of the sport are being played by the media. Fans protecting Floyd and Manny but the fight ain't happening that WE really want so who are the real fools arguing over it?

Where did I defend Floyd? I just think that some of you guys are so much into Manny Pacquiao and against Floyd that just the thought of someone saying something against Pacquiao or defending Mayweather makes you totally against that poster. $h!t is utterly ridiculous for grown men to be getting mad at another grown man because he said something about another grown man because he is their favorite fighter.

At least Ortiz has the cojones to fight anyone, like a man. He's even rematching Berto, knowing full well it's going to be a war.

Something that can't be said about Pac and Floyd. They need to cherry pick, weight drain, and price themselves out of big time competition.

I give Ortiz props for Berto and fighting him again but dude quit against Maidana and he technically quit against Mayweather by head butting him intentionally trying to break Floyd's nose and following it up with a sucker punch AFTER the referee stepped in to break it up. To add insult to injury Ortiz could have got up but dude didn't want to. He was getting out classed. I wished the fight would have went on without the unsuspecting punches Floyd threw because it would have been a total thrashing of Victor Ortiz and a better win for Mayweather.

I use to think that the purse should be split 50/50 until I found out that pacquiao makes waayyy less than floyd... Why should floyd give a 50/50 split when he makes like 50 mil more than pac?.... pac only makes like 2 or 3( see nevada fight contract) mil after fees & taxes

One more thing you just found out here first the reason why floyd apparently makes 50 million right after a fight is because hes his own promoter the money goes straight to him where as pacs money has to go through arum before pac as arum is pacs promoter however as per the Nevada state athletic policie a fighter must be paid on or just after the day of the fight so bob pays a percentage up front until he works the numbers.

Simple really you should do a little research before claiming floyd makes 50 mill more then pac
