    Brandon Rios vs Marcos Maidana

Well after watching Maidana this weekend I think all those wars he's been are catching up to him. I think a Rios vs Maidana fight is in the horizon and i really think Rios can be the first man to ko Maidana.

I think after this weekend there's no doubt that Maidana can't fight people box well, have good movement, and speed. And oh yeah southpaws. He does great against fighters that stand right in front of him, with the exception of Morales. I thought Maidana was going to kill Morales, but Morales showed how really tough and good he is even old and fat.
But Rios is a good fight for him. Its a phone booth fight for sure. Rios is better on the inside, but Maidana is stronger at 140 IMO. If Rios can handle Maidana's shots he can probably win. But first we have to see what happens against Gamboa.

Exactly... why talk about a Maidana fight when Rios has to get through an extremely tough draw in Gamboa first??

Unless you think BamBam will get a Maidana fight win or lose. If so, I think Rios has a great chance at a KO

In a battle of two guys like this, it always come down to heart, where they are equal, and freshness, where Rios has the advantage. So I'd take Rios. Maidana definitely looks like he's losing it, and fast.

It could be possible but then again Maidana will do better against someone that will stand and trade with him.

morales rolled with the punches and let's not forget that he made maidana put pillows on for that fight.

Yea I think win or loose after Gamboa Rios will be moving up. That's a fight Rios wants but who knows with toprank and gbp beef.

i hope this fight happens in the summer or fall/winter. they are on a collision course because rios win or lose vs gamboa will go up to 140 and maidana will most likely go back down to 140. I definitely can see rios dropping maidana multiple times, i honestly would not be shocked if they both dropped each other 4 or 5 times. 50/50 fight but I might lean a little towards rios because hes fresher.

I forgot about that. What size gloves did Maidana wear in that fight?
