I already stated a while back that Manny shouldn't have taken Marquez at that weight but it was at 144 not 146 and there was no last minute change in weight like there was with Floyd. Plus, with Floyd Marquez entered uncharted territory.

BUT .... Manny vs Marquez has history .... so there is a difference ... and If I remember correctly, to Marquez's credit, he actually came in bigger than Manny, fight night and looked good! Against Floyd, he was flabby and small compared to Floyd

So you are asking Manny to jump another division and you don't want Oscar to drop 3lbs? Maybe you forgot, Oscar held all the cards and it was him who wanted to fight a 130lbs fighter. Most people had Oscar killing Manny. Even the Mayweathers said, it shouldn't even be considered a fight because Oscar will cream Manny.

Why don't you guys stick to the facts. argarito was NOT "caught cheating". The Commission specifically absolved him personally of any blame but said, repeat SAID they were penalising him "because you are the head of your team" with the implication that he should have known. The trainer said he was solely responsible and took all blame.

I read the legal decision handed down. Also the infraction was described as a "used gauze pad instead of being new as , ...."slightly stiff in parts as if it had been wet and then had dried"..... instead of being new as the regulation required.

Floyd is p4p #1. the rest of these guys should feel lucky to share the ring with him. 16 yrs! 16 years and still dominating and yet we still have boxing "fans" finding something to complain about. In 20 yrs time you'll be the ones saying "i was always a Mayweather fan".
