Mormeck is training hard and high tech. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xNJDswo0gk
He has had a long time to study wladimir and train accordingly. He knows he can make history by being the first hw champ from france and he have gotten alot of france behind him.
If you wanna reign long as hw champ you can not underestimate anyone cause you never know.

Mormeck is cruiserweight, aint him? Accroding to stats yes 1 punch can do it all, but Vova is too ***** to do that. he prepares like its last day in his life and can finish his opponents easily, instead this looong borefest..and hours of boring talks, where he tells his sacred "Strategy" that helped him win the fight

it's only true when you have heavyweight power, something Mormeck doesn't have

I respect Wlad's skills a lot, but he'll jab Mormeck, keep a safe distance, and calmly, cautiously take him apart before he KO's him. That's what an intelligent sportsman would do. But it's not exciting to me, at all. I know why he won't do it, but when most people see a boxer with such huge advantages in size & strength, they want to see that big dude take the smaller dude's head off. To see more of a fighter mentality. Not being so safety minded against a foe that is so woefully outgunned.

There's nothing wrong with his style, it keeps winning him fights. He's got a huge fanbase & boxing in this style helps prolong & protect him, it's just interesting to me in the least. That's why Manny Steward went off on him when he was fighting in MSG a few years back, because much of the American fanbase wants to see heavyweights go for the KO when they've proven dominance over their opponent.

When a guy proves he has no business in a ring with you, people want to see you blast that guy out of there. Wlad will likely do that in this fight, the road taken to get there isn't likely to be dazzling.
              my thoughts exactly

it's silly for a man his size not to take a little bit of chances against non-punchers like Chambers

Wlad used to be a beast, but now that he has gotten ko'ed 3 times, he just won't risk ****

It's cool Wlad isn't dissing Mormeck or calling him a bum, but please man, everyone knows this is a massive mismatch. It's getting pretty annoying hearing Wlad making everything out to be a "tough challenge" and that he's "not going to take this lightly" bla bla. Just knock him the eff out and move on.

if he's admitting a tough bout then he knows he's really slipping...a nothing champ in this generation vs 1 that shouldn't be ranked...terrible division, the worst in boxing...

Wlad should at least make his fights more appealing to the boxing public by telling everyone what he will do instead of telling everyone what a great fighter he is fighting. We all know Mormeck is well below average at best. Yes, a lucky punch is always possible in any bout but it is laughable to suggest that Mormeck will even get in range, let alone throw one.

                      We can all hope though.
