Macklin is far higher rated than anyone Jr has ever fought. He's the #3 ranked MW by the Ring and he smashed the #2 rated fighter I don't care what some idiot judges in Germany said. Dzinzurik was undefeated and a top 5 fighter at 154 at the time. The best fighter Jr ever fought was Zbik (a guy that Martinez was going to fight but HBO told him no) and he had to get a screw job decision just to win it. I know you just want your man crush Pirog to get the fight, but Macklin has done more to deserve it than Pirog, who has one win over anyone I have ever heard of and that was just some way over-hyped prospect.
