Seems like clinches or hugs as they as used to be referred to when hatton was around seems like the tecnique to control Pac. Pac has been said not to know how to do it properly, probably mainly because he likes punching and not hugging, and to hug is to spend time away from punching.

probably because floyd is ducking the fight and it's good to let everyone know that? this way maybe they won't buy his crappy fights until he fights manny. but we know people will still keep buying and making up excuses for floyd like drug testing, he deserves more than 50/50 even though he can't even sell out etc...floyd is basically their god. facts and logic go out the window when talking to people who are part of the church of floyd. you could cut him a blank check and he would still duck the fight. it's not about money, drug testing etc... if you can't see that then you are lost.
