Actually I found Hopkins and Pascal to be rather entertaining last year... but when I saw the first two rounds of the first "fight" with these two...

I agree with you 100% I think in the last fight Chad was too Hyped up needs to calm down relax and let his hands go. If he does it will an interesting fight.

We know Chad is highly skilled. We also know that in this case he is highly motivated to take B-Hop out. Nothing fancy here. I expect Chad to be on his game and not let B-Hop turn it into his kind of fight. Jab, combos, movement will keep B-Hop at bay, Chad will cruise to a decision win. 8 rounds to 4

I see it playing out this way but Hopkins may be more competitive even in the rounds he losses. If Chad is too wound up he may gas himself out early

I want Hopkins to win.but imo at this stage Dawson is too big too strong and too quick.Dawson will win a ugly decision

Hopkins won't have the size advantage, he wont have the strength advantage he was used to at MW. He will be the fighter with less speed and we know who is younger right? I think we may see Chad KO Hopkins or at least make it life or death for B-Hop

but the 1 thing hopkins will have is the mental advantage..he is cagey and smart and i seriously doubt he will be stopped to damn smart and tough imo.but at his age you never know but i just cant count this guy out

If does not get stopped because he fights back and hangs in there for the full 12 then i am fine with that but if he pulls a Mosley and gets hit early and then is gun shy the whole fight I would be upset by that.

tbh this the only fight i will not be watchin,, i love boxing as a whole! but its gonna be a !snoozefest! unless i buy a 30 pack that night or sum!

my prediction: Hopkins is gonna clinch the whole fight, lose most rounds (maybe 9 or 10 rounds) like he did against Calzaghe and after Dawson was announced as the winner, Hopkins will say "ROBBBEERRRYYYYYYY"

bingooooo....hopkins has just been fighting smaller men, and there's a reason hopkins avoided dawson for years, because dawson has the size, speed, strength, all the tools necessary to get the job done against hopkins, and hopkins knows it....

i agree hopkins will look to hold, butt, etc. to make it an ugly fight and avoid a slaughter, but dawson has proved he's ready to get as ugly as he needs to be....

Hopkins will look to make it a dirty fight (holding, pushing, etc...), but I think if Chad performs at his best he will be able to eke out the win. Hopkins is steadily aging, and coming off of surgery just a few months ago may potentially be hitting the beginning of his decline. If Bad Chad wants to save face after the debacle in the last bout, he needs to get this win and prove to the boxing world he is the true #1 in the light heavyweight division.
