Alexander's performance was definitely more impressive. Broner's a great talent. He just annoys me. The hair combing **** and his post fight interview was just ******.

I was there live and he sure did steal the show. St. Louis really liked his overal performance from the entrance, the fight, and post-fight interview. Kid has found a little niche and he's taking advantage of that. Had a very good performance in the ring.

Lets not get too excited. Broner just beat a guy that many posters here had any idea of who he was prior till tonight.

He beat who his promoter put in front of him and he looked very exciting doing it. Unlike Bradley who fought a washed up Guzman and then got a Pac fight. Broner just brought back some Ali with the hair and the eye brows thing. His stance and fighting style reminds me of Floyd to some extent and he also has glimpses of vulnerability in him. This makes for an exciting career to follow from a young age and point. As for Gamboa and Rios give it time he will take them on @ 130-135lbs for right now I would not mind seeing him take on .Daniel Ponce De Leon and Jason Litzau were a good measuring stick for him. Eloy Perez was ranked 4th in the US and 9th in the world @ 130lbs prior to this fight. I wouldn't mind seeing him pass one more test before we match him with the rest of the elite at 130. Celestino Caballero has stepped up to 130lbs before and is a good featherweight. At 35 years old he would be a good measuring stick for Broner and one more test to pass before we pass him with a final grade. .GuNzZ

Perez was open to the right hand all night long, i wonder why it toke broner so long to figure that one out.

he could have knocked him out in the first round
