    hi,

    my scorecard:

    Huck: 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12.
    Pove: 2, 3, 6, 8, 11.

    115:113 Huck.

the 114:114 was the best card, 8-4 for Pove is just too wide, sorry, but like Huck said Sauerland won the fight. Either Klit or Chisora will beat Povetkin.

        Huck fought like a pro.

        Love to see it again.
I agree Povetkin was at fault more in the second half of the fight, you're still not accurate about Huck's blatant fouling though. Calling him a pro? Ya G-Man would be proud of him...........Guy is dangerous and a disgrace.

I have eyes. At the end of the fight yes he was doing it on his own but most the fight Huck shoves it down with his forearms. First 6 rounds he did that 5+ times each round. He should have been disqualified.
Yes there were times where Huck used his body to push Povetkin down but even on some of those times, Povetkin was already going down on his own.

Majority of the time, Povetkin ducked on his own but the point was that the ref was always siding with Povetkin .... and what made things even worse, the ref was always in the middle of this one to the point that it got annoying!!! The ref was pulling a sweat (see his shirt!)

Guys getting rabbitted when they bend over like that at the waist is pretty normal in boxing. It rarely leads to a DQ, nor should it.

I'll watch it again later and score it....but I felt like Huck got over slightly and a draw would've been acceptable....Povetkin kept bending down and doing most of the holding...Huck was hurting him when he touched him...a real good scrap...very competetive...they should do it again....those 2 wide ass cards were payed for by somebody who can do that sort of thing....no way Povetkin ran a 8-4 card off tonight..nah!!...smh

True ... even the commentators stated this ... it was obvious .... you duck while a guy is getting ready to throw, its your own fault that the punch ends up hitting you in the back of the head .... but this ref was too busy with warning Huck ....

I'm looking at this one objectively .... last fight Povetkin was fighting, I was pulling for him to win ... that round where Atlas was trying to get Povetkin going was classic.

This one Povetkin gave it his all but he gassed out .... Huck thru the more effective bombs ... close fight.

                    5-7 Huck.

A few rounds were really close though so 2-3 rounds could have gone either way.

It's true the referee seemed to be on Huck's case a little bit more but that's what happens to you when you spend your entire career being a dirty fighter who rabbit punches the piss out of every man you step into the ring with. I am sure Povetkin's team expressed this pre-fight and the referee was clearly looking for it.

I still thought Huck won this fight 7 rounds to 5, though 6 to 6 is just as likely. All things being equal Huck certainly landed the harder punches and hurt his opponent more. Povetkin is a spoiled brat who doesn't like to train hard and that's why he parted with Atlas. We saw the result of Povetkin getting his way with his training as he gassed after 5 rounds.

If Povetkin were worth half a **** he would have dominated a fighter that Cruiersweight Lebedev actually handled quite easily (he was robbed blatantly).
