Instead, he remained in New York, working at the disaster site helping remove rubble and whatever else he could do.

    Hopkins didn't.
Sorry but I completely disagree here. Trinidad's condition wasnt at fault in that fight. Bernard never or rarely dropped his hands. Bernard fought the perfect fight and I will not take anything a way from his performance nor let someone talk me into 9/11 being the reason Tito loss. The loss had nothing to do with Tito's condition nor close to it IMO. This was more a matter of Bernard bringing a great gameplan & executing it against Tito.

And if Tito can accept his defeat, why can't his bitter fans either?

Oh, and I wouldn't take notice of what Kim says. He talks bull so ignore his 'Tito had wraps' accusations. He's the same guy who stated Ortiz V Mayweather did 800k buys
Agreed, Tito was never a true Middleweight, he was a great Welter and could of been an even great Super Welter, but Middleweight was to big for him. He could of continued to fight at middle but he was to small, he carried the power with him but he was just to physically small. You had a great Welter vs a great Middle..bigger is better..Hopkins wins. Nothing to be ashamed about.

Oscar's best win was also against Vargas. A post-Trinidad ass kicking Vargas.

          You lose.

Very hard to matchup Trinidad vs JC Chavez Sr. I believe Chavez entered 147 late or when he was pretty much done with his career. he fought his whole career 140 and below. Trinidad we know fought 147+ so its very hard to matchup them up.

Other idiot...?So you are insinuating I am an idiot? You do not know my intellegence level nor do I yours. It is so easy for people to talk garbage on the internet but not in someones face. To call someone an idiot because they have an opinion shows you have low self esteem or are just a very low person.
              My opinion:
Vargas career is in question because of PED's (As well as Mosleys) and he was too young to go in against such an experienced fighter. Modern example Ortiz against Mayweather.
ODLH has lost many of his high profile matches but he still sold tickets like crazy.
Whats Trinidads excuse for losing against BHop and Winky? He does have power and I was not knocking him so if you got butt hurt thats all on you.

The hand wrap issue was more Hopkins getting into Tito's head more than they were an illegal way to give advantage to Tito's punching power.

Hopkins was already into his head with the flag incident. Wright showed that regardless Tito had problems with boxers that could move and avoid his big punches

Vargas was always to brave for his chin. He was at his peak when Tito fought him, not after.

Trinidad would have crushed the 147 version of Chavez

JCC was always more comfortable at 130-140
