Ummm, no. Canelo on the undercard does little to nothing for ppv buys. The fact that you have 2 of the top 3 boxing names in America is the reason why it will do more. SMH, at people that think undercard or undercard fighters do much for ppv buys. If Canelo had a big ppv fan base, he would be fighting as the main event on a smaller ppv. Right now, he wouldn't even sell 50,000 ppvs in America.

          ??

Where'd u get proof of this??

          2. Pac has a better fight compared to floyd as he was against Bradley while May is only against a good fighter like Cotto.
PPV #'s don't always have anything to do with the actual ability of the opponent. I mean Bradley is a virtual no name that couldn't sell much over 1000 in his hometown, while Cotto is a automatic PPV sell...

And if ur talkin skill and ability... Cotto > Bradley... That's taking both Resume, and that "Eye-Test" in mind

          3. Pac is usually the smaller fighter when he fights (although arguably this is not true) that's why his fights are more challenging. In the last 2-3 years, I think Pac has much better opponents than Floyd.
Bradley is the one moving up a weight class in that fight, while Floyd is the one moving up in his fight??

Pac and May's fights are highly dependent on getting the best opponents out there. Cotto is a better seller in tickets, but why do they have to put Canelo's name on the list if May could sell the fight just by fighting Cotto? That's because HE NEEDS CANELO TO SELL MORE. But who cares, May is known to buy unsold tickets anyway just to keep his numbers... LOL

Oh, yeah... Those r definite facts... After all, I'm sure u and Floyd hang out everyday, and he called u and told u that they were putting Canelo on the card to help the PPV #'s

Its not like its possible that GBP is putting Canelo on the card becuz he's there brightest star and they want to put him on a Mayweather event to get his name out there?? >~<

Or its not like GBP just wants to put on great cards for the fans just becuz...

Honest question, does Canelo headline any of his own PPV's? And if so, how do they do?? I mean it, its an honest question

I am going to buy the fight that will have the most action, which I feel will be the Pac/Bradley fight. I may download the Mayweather/Cotto fight later or catch the replay on HBO.

If someone can comfortably afford to buy a PPV in HD, I'm sure they will buy it. If they can't afford it, they will stream it or watch it later online.

There are a lot of GBP fighters out there who could benefit more from the Mayweather fight if they'll replace Canelo. But the good thing is canelo has a huge draw among Latino fans.

They're both of the same FRAME, fighting at the SAME WEIGHT CLASS. Its not like what Mayweather did to Marquez right?
