lol the interviewer is clueless and you can tell by his tone that he thinks Cotto is some nobody. Mainstream coverage, you gotta love it.

Fugg the haters! Cotto english is not perfect but he gets his point across and he is not afraid to make mistakes.

Anyhow, he stated he was o/a 166-168lbs. That is easy weight, he will be just fine.

A lot of people will be shocked, and Miguel will bring it! Dont be surprised when Miguel come out victorious on May 5th!

To learn another language isnt very easy. Especially the older you get. Is English is fine considering the amount of time he has been speaking English. Its just a reason to hate on him because they cant hate on him for being a boxer. He has a good resume and he has been in wars and fought hard. Some people like fighters who duck fights and fight every so often...You dont get that with Cottto!

I must agree. My first language is Spanish (born and raised in Puerto Rico) but my English is an 8.5-9. I also taken 6 months of Arabic (Modern Standard) inmersion in 1993 with 2/5th SFG, and that was extremely challenging. I also took 5 weeks of Russian inmersion and it ****** when I was with 1/10th SFG. I was offered a year of Swahili or Amharic inmersion back in 1996 during my time on 5th Special Forces Group but I "politely" turned that down! lol!!! Fugg that!!!

Learning another language is awesome... And IMO well respected to someone who learns any type of knowledge. Better than wasting the brain on ignorance. It also has benefits. Some people dont need to be bilingual and that okay, but they shouldnt hate on anyone that tries to speak another lang in their own dialect.
