You know I think Whitaker's punching is a bit underrated, I'm not saying he has k.o. power but he was the type of guy who liked to play around and carry the fight never really sat on his punches, if we were to compare Sweet Pea to all the names that have already been mentioned he would probably be the hardest hitting out of all of them.Originally posted by TuPrincipeDefinetly Pernell Whitaker. On top of having no power, he had a bad chin.Comment

True, Pernell scored a first round ko in winning one fo this lightweight title fights. He also floored De La Hoya and backed up Trinidad a bit in their fight. Not a KO puncher but could punch harder than he did!Originally posted by rslYou know I think Whitaker's punching is a bit underrated, I'm not saying he has k.o. power but he was the type of guy who liked to play around and carry the fight never really sat on his punches, if we were to compare Sweet Pea to all the names that have already been mentioned he would probably be the hardest hitting out of all of them.Comment

WHITAKER? what are you guys taking?....he had power and he had a good chin...he rocked almost everybody he fought including chavez who robbed him of a ud....his problem was finishing people off...several fights he's been in he's rocked guys but he never jumped on them because he fights defense first offense second i kid you not watch his fights i'm serious and considering he continually jumped in weight class he still had power, her didn't carry it like roy jones but close enoughComment
