Brutal fight in an empty arena on a terrible PPV card (B-Hop-Winky), it was pretty crazy.... Lampley barely paid attention to this war until the latter part of the fight.

i totally forgot about this fight until just now. that was one of the last ppv's i bought and definitely the highlight of the card. that's a real underrated fight, katsidis has had so many good ones that it gets overlooked. probably because it was on a hop-winky ppv.

I thought Amonsot suffered from brain bleeds after that fight, and thats why he can't fight in the states anymore. Anyways it would probably be a even fight at this point. Katsidis looked awful against Burns in almost every way. He looked like he took punches well still, but Burns isn't a puncher. His technique was the worst I've ever seen from him and his punches looked weak to me. Even when he got slaughtered by JMM and Guerrero his punches looked like strong. He looked like he was totally shot to me in his last fight. I love Katsidis, he an all action warrior and he will fight anyone but, the back to back beatings he took from JMM and Ghost took a lot out of him. It proved to be a bad choice for him.
