Herrera is a very winnable fight, and while Alvarado was getting whooped the first 4 rounds by Prescott, that was BY FAR the best I'd seen Prescott box in those 4 rounds. He looked great. He tired and Alvarado cut the distance, made it his fight in last half of the bout. Alvarado won't beat any 140 lb guy that can fight fast, quick, and slick for an entire fight, which is why he won't beat someone like Khan, Bradley, and I'd favor Peterson over him as well for sure. But, he can fight with guys that trade and aren't that much quicker than him. Alvarado looked a slow his last fight, definitely much slower than he did against Narh in May. Maybe that was because he weighed 157 lbs on fight night against Prescott, clearly loked much bigger than he did against Narh, to me at least.
Herrera likes to ****, and so does Alvarado, should be a great fight. I think Herrera lacks the power to hurt or keep Mike off of him. And Herrera doesn't have those really quick hands like Prescott does, which gave Mike all the trouble in the world for the first 4 rounds his last fight.
Alvarado by late TKO in a close fight. Is this 10 or 12 rounds????
