The Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer (German Boxing Federation) has frozen $100,000 of Dereck Chirora’s $500,000 purse and is recommending to the WBC and the British Boxing Board of Control that Chisora receive a lifetime ban in addition to a $100,000 fine. “$50,000 for slapping Vitali Klitschko, $25,000 for spitting on Wladimir Klitschko and $25,000 for the fight with David Haye,” stated BDB President Thomas Pütz said on Thursday. The final decision will be made by the WBC.

No sanctions can be made against David Haye, who is officially retired and currently unlicensed. However, he could face problems if he wishes to resume his career.
