In Rusty’s Corner; Mayweather Thoughts, Hatton

I didn’t comment on the Mayweather – Mitchell fight from Portland and televised by HBO on Saturday, because although Mayweather is the best out there at the moment, the competition was one or two levels below him. [details]

It's just like seeing fireworks--there's no comment to be made. Mayweather's first fight at 'welterweight' when it is just an aged junior welterweight agreeing to weigh 147. c'mon. Mayweather will have to fight Hatton for me to believe he dominated 140, just like he never took on Casamayor at 130. Pretty Boy picks his guys and all based on his pretty knuckles, Floyd is a wuss when it comes to fighting. He's a great boxer, but he sucks at fighting, he's never had to do it. His boxing even becomes questionable when you consider that video that was all over the net of spadafora schooling him.
