According to promoter Hector Garcia of HG Boxing has announced that IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado (24-1-1, 16KOs) will make a mandatory defense of his crown Martin Honorio (32-2-1, 16KOs) of Mexico on April 7th or April 14th, possibly at a venue in Mexico City. It will be Salgado second defense after fighting Miguel Beltran Jr. to a no-contest in December.
