I don't know of any real boxing gyms in seattle either, mostly a combination of mma/kickboxing/boxing.

Like Pac-Boy said, LOOK AROUND!! Ask around. Google. Shadow box in the corner of your street and hope someone notices and tells you where the boxing gym is located.

Go on Boxrec / Google and see if any Boxers live in Seattle and try to find out where they train. I doubt you will find a "pro" gym (aka a run down shack that is serious). But you will probably find "Hollywood" gyms with fake boxers and MMA guys who dance around alot and get a nice strawberry shake at the Gym's Bar at the end of their crazy workout. Fissspump!

How far you willing to drive? If you want to become pro then you must move, if its just for exercize just join a gym or go a seedy part of town and try to find something there. Is there even a seedy part of Seattle? inb4 someone says "yea the place with only 3 Starbucks per block instead of the usual 9"

                    Good find.

Boxing Lessons will teach you how to:

Enhance basic boxing technique: As covered in boxing fitness classes.
Slip, block and parry punches: The goal is not to get hit. With practice you will learn how to slip with the best of them.
Counter punch effectively: Counter punching is about making points and learning to respond instead of react.
Spar: Sparring is fun when you are learning, and when you and your sparring partner safely challenge one another to greater levels of skill.
Face your own feelings of fear or inadequacy: Everyone has reactions to hitting or being hit. You will learn how to remain centered, and to use your technique in the face of potential danger. This is a skill that will benefit you the rest of your life.
