I think part of it that has been annoying people is that an Asian guy has a good 2 week run in the NBA and already there are people on here who want to compare him to Jordan, Kobe, Lebron etc...there are people on here who would already vote Lin into the HOF and declare him the greatest PG of all time because of a 2 week stretch Linsanity is awesome, but some people are taking it way too seriously.

It's not that he is being compared. He is a fresh face making a name in the nba. Rookies who do good in the nba gets the attention, wether black white hispanics and asians. People want to see new stars.

Lol.. Anyways Floyd saying Asian is not racist we understand that but it's how he used it. *****s seem to be ignoring that part. Its like Larry bird saying yea michael Jordan is good but it's because he's black.

That would be stereotyping not racism. In Lin's case the media is over hyping him because the media is not used to seeing an Asian ball like this. It's out of the norm because Asian's "stereotypically" don't ball on this level.
