In fact the people claiming he is are insecure themselves. He gave Lin credit by saying he's a good player. A racist wouldn't do that. He would go out of his way to bash said person repeatedly.

After reading through various responses it's clear to me that a lot of you don't know what racism is. What Floyd said said about Pacquiao was ignorant NOT racist. Let me provide the definition for you guys again for those that didn't get it the first time.

Now what did Floyd say that is racist? Floyd complimented Lin on being a good basketball player, then Floyd said the Lin Hype is because Lin is Asian. These 2 statements are mostly true, Lin agreed with Mayweather in a sit down interview. Lin was asked a question by Rachel Nichols about stereotypes in the NBA, Lin admitted stereotypes has a lot to do with his hype.

at the 2:50 mark Lin comments on white journalist writing/speaking (what dumb people call racist) code words about his Asian athleticism and stereotypes.

Coz he is a boxing fan. He started loving boxing before you were even born kid.. He is representing all the rational boxing fans who knows whats-up. Stop the road blocks Floyd.

After watching Dana White's ******ed tirade, I thought two things initially. One was that this guy is simply doing what Bob Arum has done before him and that's ride Mayweather coattails, nothing more. This isn't righteous indignation; this is a promoter capitalizing off of Floyd's statements. Don’t get me wrong, Mayweather's inarticulate statements have definitely got him into trouble in the past but the Lin comments he made are what others have been thinking as well, it just so happens he made those comments and since everything he says is either wrong or bad, quite naturally they make him a "racist," why not?

The second and last point is that Dana to me seems like a modern-day plantation owner, I mean he lives well, obviously he’s rich but the individuals he makes his money off of are not similarly compensated. That to me strikes more of a racist tone than Mayweather's comments. I mean, Dana White has no credibility on this issue because he hasn't learned to treat those around him like he treats himself, so forgive me for not saying something idiotic like, "Wow man, Dana White just totally nailed it."

Such are the observations of shallow simpletons that are looking more to find fault in Floyd than bring clarity to the issue.

How hard do you have to try to spin this.. The guy loves boxing he started boxing when he was young. He has said time and time again his love for boxing is still their and that boxing and mma can coexist.

If he made these comments at the time sure~ but he waited until he was doing promotions in Asia. It really cheapens what he says.

Oh and Dana White ain't no plantation owner, he is the guy running the farm getting paid well not doing hard work but he isn't the one really cashing in. The Fertitta brothers would be the owners and the ones really cashing in on the backs of UFC fighters.
