Not really..This ain't Mexico, where the visiting fighter has to literally KO & kill the local in order to win..Just to give u an example, 1)Wifredo Vazquez Sr was defending his title for the 1st time in P.R after being a world champ for a couple of years & lost a UD to Venezuelan Antonio Cermeńo.
2)When Alex"El Nene"Sanchez was undefeated & while he was a world champ & was building his record up to face Ricardo"Finito"Lopez, he lost Mexican Edgar "Tun Tun"Cardenas by UD in P.R
3)& Hugo Cazares fought 6 times in P.R all against Puerto Ricans & only loosing 2 & 2 of his wins were by decision..

I have to disagree. Puerto Rico is no Texas or Mexico and the WBO is no WBC when it comes to Puerto Rican fighters. I welcome you to research and see if you can find any quesitonable decision coming from the Island. Is a matter of fact, Need a remind that many tought that the Puertorican referee of the first fight prematurely stopped the fight (not in my opinion, Juanma had nothing left), but my point is that there was no hesitation in halting the fight or signs that any special treatment was given to Juanma.

Is a matter of fact, find any champion or boxer (with the exeption of Hopkins that desecrated the PR flag) that has complained of been robbed. By the way, even Hopkins is now treated like a celebrity when visiting Puerto Rico.

Why doesn't Cotto give Margarito a rematch in Mexico or fight Canelo or Chávez Jr. there? I thought so.

What a dumb question. Margarito dont deserve another fight. He has loss his last three fights (not including Garcia) by TKO. He needs to retire. Why fight Canelo in Mexico when he can make more money fighting him in Vegas or NY. Chavez Jr comes to fight as f.ing cruiserweight. How a small 154 like Cotto is going to fight him in his backyard? Are you this dumb? Cotto has nothing to win against Chavez and IMO Chavez will make him quit again. Why Chavez dont fight Martinez, Pavlik, Abraham or even Edison Miranda? He rather face Vanda two more times.

Cotto is not an ATG. He is a very good fighter in this era but not ATG. Not great yet.
