i always prefered watching middle sized men fight as oposed to both big or small guys. you get it all with those guys, boxers, punchers, dancers etc. it makes for more interesting stylistic matchups and more well rounded fighters imo. those half sized guys dont fight at a slow pace like most HWs, they have more speed and movement and more skills than the really big guys. but at the same time they got real one punch KO power as well unlike most small guys, and i just prefer watching man sized guys fight as oposed to midgets.

short answer i watch it, not everything but more than most boxing fans i think, same thing goes for the small weights. with the HW division being in such poor shape for so long i watch it less bcuz of that though.

Currently not so much, it is partly because the heavyweight scene is whack and when I watch current guys fight at heavy I see very little bad intentions.

I am fine with heavies using the sweet science it is fun to watch a big guy be nimble and make guys miss but I expect dudes to get put to sleep with good regularity at heavy and I just don't see that very often anymore for whatever reason.

Try watching Klitschko fights. You will see dominant champions with much skill defending against the best the division has to offer almost every time out.

The harsh truth is that even Cristobel would batter Manny. The HW division is getting better IMO. Stunts like this will only be the top of the ice berg. Boxing needs to bring attention to the division again. The day after the fight 1 in three top yahoo articles were about boxing. They even started putting up tales of the tape for Haye-Chisora.

HBO was completely ****ing foolish for not showing this fight. I hope they're kicking themselves. If they managed over 3 million viewers for Wlad=Haye and 2 million for Adamek, the replays of this alone would have doubled that number. Likewise, Sky must be gagging on their decision not to show PPVs. This has been the biggest sport story in these parts for quite some time.

It's true what they say: boxing is only as healthy as the heavyweight division

I only watch Klit fights. Cant remember the last time a non-Klit heavyweight impressed me.

Helenius-Chisora was pretty fun. Although I don't like Helenius. He's like a Tyson Fury who made it too high in the ranks for my own liking.

It sucks, but I watch. I'd much rather watch almost any other division though. Unless the Klitschkos are fighting, I know I'm probably going to watch two guys who really suck.

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. The heavies should primarily be the division of big punchers and the baddest of the bad. Guys nowadays are too mild and passive in and out of the ring.

Without the K brothers I see the Heavyweight division declining even further. They bring a lot of money and people to the sport. It would take a lot of years for it to get up again without them.
