Comments Thread For: Boente: Election Win Would End V. Klitschko's Boxing Run
Bernd Boente, the manager of WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40 KOs), admits the year-end elections in Kiev will determine the future of Vitali in the sport of boxing.
It would be a good time to retire for him all the same, can't see anyone mounting a serious challenge of his reign any time soon. Maybe if Helenius avenged his DEFEAT! against Chisora he could be be a serious threat or if Haye beat someone worth beating. Plus with Arreola topping the WBC rankings with Dimitrenko number two, Adamek or Arreola could well be the future WBC champ and they have the guts to fight Wladimir for all the titles. Just hoping Sauerland doesn't manoeuvre one of their guys in there so that the next WBC champ will avoid the hell out of Wlad.
Manny Pac can handle being a Congressman and a boxer at the same time. I don't see why Klit can't.
manny pacquiao is a fraud as a politician- he is a popular figurehead more than anyhting. not knocking his intentions or what he may do in the future, but he doesn't appear to be doing that much so far. therefore it is quite easy for him to be involved in both
i know we english run the klits down but, that night in munchen.......
they held themselves with dignity and respect for everyone, to see david haye involved in this kind of sillyness is a little beyond his usual stuff.
i must say, chisora who has a known past for "unpleasantness" outside of the ring i think was the instigator here.
however, this would not have happened if (like here or the u.s) there were adequate security arrangements.
i also think that the germans probably had some security but thought, "hang on a minute"...."lets let the english make public fools of themselves and get payback for 1945".lol
im sure that the B.B.B.OF C will be critical of this when investigating our public shame.
i thought it was only footballers who did this kind of thing, i was wrong.
but, in a u-turn..........its hard to say but, im beggining to like the klits.
THERE! I SAID IT!
and i hope that he gets the vote.
