I assume you know this because you are acting like you know this in great detail.
So lets hear it.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 02-21-2012, 12:16 PM.

I just want to say, that asking for a guaranteed 50 million is ridiculous for one fight. It is over the top, 40 million is an outstanding price to step in the ring to fight someone you think you can beat the hell out of. Do you realize how much money 1 million dollars is in the Philippines? You could support 5 families for yours and their lifetime. WHY DOES HE NEED 50 MILLION DOLLARS TO FIGHT PBF?
Does Pacman deserve as much as PBF? Perhaps but Pacman is by far the more ridiculous one, he refused to drug test for how long? He refuses 40 million dollars.
This reminds me of a psychological experiment. There were people who were asked to be a leader of a group project. They were given two options for compensation they would all make 20 dollars while you make 40 dollars or they could make 60 dollars while everyone else made 80 dollars. More people chose the 40 dollars because it was in relation to social status. Pacman did the same thing.
I think that both sides are @55holes. They both claim to love the sport but both refuse to give the sport what it needs to be thrown back on the map.
What's funny about all of this is I don't think either fighter is actually scared of the other. I think neither one wants to take a back seat in the financial gain possible, they both want the social status of the bigger purse. They both feel they deserve it.
They are both ridiculous. Both have lied and acted ridiculous in the boxing world. I wish both would refuse the big money and poor that money back into adding boxing gyms in communities. Give back to people and make boxing big again. They should both ask for 20 million and leave the rest to the sport. What on earth are you going to do with 50 million dollars in a place like the Philippines? Sheez you nearly could buy the damn country.

Floyd also spouted that he would get $40m guarantee for the Ortiz fight, the article says that isn't true, as Floyd gets very low gaurantees under that model.
115m, for Oscar, Hatton, Marquez and Mosley, $ 28m a fight, And Pacquiao was offering a $50m guarantee.
Hatton also got 100% of British PPV money, another thing the article got wrong.
You do know the difference between the money Floyd earns and the money he can generate, don't you?

Guarantee aside, why does Floyd think he deserves 100% of PPV royalties? That's probably a bigger issue than the guarantee.

I agree with you Pacquiao.
I can't understand for the life of me as to why Floyd is scared ****less of this midget that isn't even a WW.
I think Floyd should be held outta the HOF if he ends his career without facing Manny.
