While I realize that Randall Bailey isn't a very good step up at all for Jones, he should take this fight. It's for a vacant Welterweight title, which puts him in position for better opponents after Bailey. I'd like to see him fight Brook, Solomon, Alexander-Maidana winner, Aydin, or even the Berto-Ortiz II winner next.

Why are people complaining? This is not Top Rank decision. This is a mandatory set by the IBF. Not Jones nor Bailey fault.

i dont really see the issue with this fight. sure its not a step up, but it is an interesting title fight nonetheless. jones has a shot at a belt and bailey gets another chance, basiley is a gatekeeper anyway, the type of dude, jones needs to look impressive against

Jones will win and hopefully Bob Arum will dare to put him in with Kell Brook at the end of 2012. Never mind chasing Pacquiao, that fight will not sell.
