Umm.. Didn't vitali spend damn near the last 5 months trying to nail that haye fight?

Get real. The dude wanted to stay retired, now he doesn't want to "lose his license" and wants to land a Vitali fight. And go figure, his marketing ploy is " I bet Vitali can't knock me out like he said he would! "

he just wants to survive again for another big pay day, and prove that he couldn't get KO'd.

He doesn't deserve a Vitali fight.

Let him get a few W's against maybe Arreola, Adamek, Chisora and then talk about fighting for the title again.
This first response effectively ended the thread.

Yeah, Vitali's ducking a retired fighter.

Either you're retired or you're active. If it's the latter - work your way back into the picture, seeing as you haven't got a paper belt to parade around anymore.

I mean, the nerve of this guy.....sabotaging a press conference while he's still in retirement mode. I mean, it doesn't seem a few months ago where that homer Bunce was writing a fawning tribute to Haye's career.

Honestly, it was laughable when Booth, blood trickling down his face, launches into this rant against Bonte (sp).....it's like....dude, who gives a ****? After all the antics in the lead-up to the Wlad fight and then the limp effort during, you two think anyone cares that Vitali is supposedly ducking you? Especially when we've just seen one of the classic out-of-the-ring brawls and we're in the aftermath of it. Deluded as hell.

And honestly, if you thought Haye ran against Wlad, it's gonna be even worse against Vitali. As much as I would enjoy seeing Haye get KTFO, does anyone really wanna see Haye cycle around the ring against Vitali after a couple of years without even having fought since the Wlad fight?

Your all correct in saying that Haye doesnt deserve a Vitali fight. But Vitali called Haye out after the Wlad fight claiming he will do what Wlad couldnt. Vitali's manager admitted at the press conference after the chisora fight that they offered Haye a contract! My opinion is that Vitali and his manager realised that if Chisora can cause them problems, then David Haye would be a dangerous choice of fight. Regardless of the Wlad fight he is the most explosive and fast heavyweight around. I believe Sky Sports wouldnt turn down the oppertunity to televise the fight as all of the moronic haters of Haye will still tune in and watch.

Would love to see Povetkin vs one of the Klitschko's. They dont seem to want to fight him and he is a belt holder. Over the years the Klitschko's have cherry picked fighters and never took risks. I think Valuev with his size and his ring presence would have been too much for them both. The Klitschko's have failed to clean knockout an opponent for the last few fights and i think with better devised tactics Chisora or Haye could defeat them. Wlad is the superiour boxer and has better physical attributes but has got a dodgy chin when hit clean.

Oh dear, you appear to be a little clueless sir.

If Chisora can get a shot at Vitali then Haye deserves another shot. Chisora has done absolutely nothing in the sport and lost two of the three fights coming into his shot at Vitali. At least Haye has legitimately beaten mediocre HW opponents like Valuev and Ruiz. Chisora hasn't even done that.

I doubt it will happen. Haye's a load of hot-air and when you get down to brass tacks I doubt he'd be willing to work his way back up the ladder. If he fights again it will only be for a big payday.

Agreed. At very most he'll fight Chisora if the money's right, otherwise it's Vitali or no one.

Vitali wants the fight, he's said it enough times and so has Haye. They should make the fight.
